U.S. Constitution, Treaties: "Torture is a crime."

POINT (1/3): Torture is a war crime, of which George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Karl Rove, et al., are admittedly and provably guilty.

(2/3): All war criminals belong in jail.

(1/4): On January 20, 2009, President Barack Obama solemnly swore to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

(2/4): Article VI of the U.S. Constitution states "all treaties made under the authority of the United States shall be the supreme law of the land."

(3/4): At least four (4) treaties obligate the U.S. to investigate and prosecute all acts of torture.

READ (4/4): Amendment VIII of the U.S. Bill of Rights states "Cruel and unusual punishments shall not be inflicted."

POINT (3/3): America is bound to (i.e., must) prosecute all government officials, including George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Karl Rove, et al., responsible for the authorization of torture and the commission of other known war crimes.
